EWB Happen Northside Garden Project - Planning and Design Phase

Below is a list of project areas where we need volunteers.  Work will be managed through small project teams of 1 or 2 or 3 members and volunteers can work on multiple teams.  An on-going weekly check in meeting is held on Tuesday's at 5:30 pm in Kristen Keane's office..  A web meeting can be set up if desired.   Please contact Barry Smith (smithbf11@gmail.com) or Kristen Keane (kkeane@cpsconsult.com) if you are interested. 

  1. Garden Layout - Beds, paths, seating, etc.
  2. 3D Rendering of Garden Plan
  3. 30" raised bed design - modular retaining wall block
  4. 30" raised bed with ADA access - wood
  5. Concrete Contractor Coordination - scope, bids, etc.
  6. Drainage Plan
  7. Grading Plan
  8. Survey work to document existing utilities, etc.
  9. Fence selection, layout, etc.
  10. Sun mapping of the site
  11. Estimating - hours and materials
  12. Schedule development
  13. Electric layout
  14. Irrigation design
  15. Sculpture foundation design
  16. General brainstorming at weekly meeting
  17. Review roles when plans are developed
