WANTED - Stuff for the Happen Take Apart Day events in November

WHAT'S NEEDED - Anything that kids would enjoy disassembling. Electronics (computers, TVs, VCRs, etc) are particularly popular.

WHERE TO BRING STUFF - Happen Make It Space - 4201 Hamilton Ave, Cinti. 45223

WHEN TO BRING STUFF - No appointment needed for drop-offs made during these times:
- Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 3:30 - 7:30 pm
- Saturday from 10am - 5pm.

VOLUNTEERS ALSO NEEDED - To help supervise and answer technical questions during the events

- (Tues. Wed. Thurs.) November 3,4,5, & 10,11,12 from 4 - 6 pm
- (Sat) November 7 & 14 from 1 - 5 pm

EWB-USA Great Lakes Region Spring Workshop

Join the Engineers Without Borders-USA Great Lakes Region members in our 3rd spring workshop in Columbus, OH on February 28th and March 1st.

On Saturday February 28, 2015 after the Alleviating Poverty Through Entrepreneurship Summit (info below), Engineers Without Borders-USA will be sponsoring a dinner to discuss the ideas and concepts from the summit and how we can relate that to our organization.

On Sunday March 1, 2015 Village Earth will lead a Community Mobilization Training. This short course focuses on the theory and practical methods of sustainable community-based development, in particular, strategies for enhancing trust, communication, and participation between EWB Chapters and their partner communities.

This is an opportunity to network with members within the region, meet up with EWB State Reps, and gain valuable experience and training to apply to our EWB projects.

This event is FREE and includes Dinner on Saturday night and Lunch on Sunday. Please fill out this form for agenda and to register.

Alleviating Poverty Through Entrepreneurship Summit

The Alleviating Poverty Through Entrepreneurship (APTE) Summit is an annual, student-organized event held at The Ohio State University that gathers social entrepreneurs from around the globe, students, and community members to explore sustainable solutions to poverty.

About EWB Greater Cincinnati Chapter

You can help! Our Chapter continues to grow and we are looking for more helpful volunteers like you. Feel free to attend  our next meeting. Meetings are held on the second Saturday of every month from 10:00 AM - 12:00. New members are encouraged to attend our Welcome Session at 9:30 AM.
